Hey everyone, welcome back to our Alaska Off Grid Cabin Remodel series. In this video, we’re going to show you how we’re using an orbital stretch wrapping machine in our project. Taking on a big project like this in the Alaska bush takes so much forethought. But we’re making progress slow but sure.

First, let’s talk about what an orbital stretch wrapping machine is. It’s a machine used to wrap stretch film around a product to secure and protect it during transportation or storage. We’re using it to wrap our building materials to protect them from the harsh Alaskan weather.
We’ve found that using this machine has made our work much more efficient. It used to take us hours to wrap materials by hand, but now we can wrap them in just minutes. Plus, the machine ensures that the materials are wrapped tightly and securely every time, giving us peace of mind that they’ll arrive at our cabin in good condition.
