In this YouTube video, I'll show you how to transform a cat claw machine shaker mold into a cute TOTORO character using a plastic shrink machine. The Plastic Shrink Machine is a must-have tool for any DIY enthusiast. It allows you to create shrink plastic crafts with ease. In this video, I'll be using the Plastic Shrink Machine to shrink a TOTORO design onto the cat claw machine shaker mold. This will give it a unique and personalized touch that is sure to impress.
To begin, gather all the necessary materials for this project. You'll need a cat claw machine shaker mold, shrink plastic sheets, a TOTORO design template, and of course, a Plastic Shrink Machine. Once you have everything ready, it's time to start crafting!
First, print out the TOTORO design template and cut it out. Place the template on top of the shrink plastic sheet and trace the outline with a permanent marker. Make sure to apply gentle pressure to ensure a clean and precise outline.
Next, carefully cut out the TOTORO design from the shrink plastic sheet. Be sure to follow the outline as closely as possible to maintain the integrity of the design. Once you have the TOTORO cut out, it's time to use the Plastic Shrink Machine.
Preheat the Plastic Shrink Machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Once it's ready, place the TOTORO cut out onto the shrink plastic sheet and carefully slide it into the machine. Allow it to shrink for a few seconds, and you'll witness the magic happening right before your eyes!
As the shrink plastic heats up, it will start to shrink and curl. Don't worry, this is completely normal. Once the shrinking process is complete, remove the shrunken TOTORO design from the machine and let it cool for a few seconds. You'll be amazed at how small and compact it becomes!
Now, it's time to attach the shrunken TOTORO design onto the cat claw machine shaker mold. Apply a small amount of adhesive or glue onto the back of the TOTORO and carefully place it onto the mold. Press firmly to ensure a secure bond. Allow the adhesive to dry completely before moving on.
Once the adhesive is dry, your TOTORO cat claw machine shaker mold is complete! Give it a test shake and watch as the TOTORO design dances around inside. It's a fun and unique twist on a classic toy.
